for Angling and Sightseeing around the Wicklow Coast.
Our experienced skippers are expertly qualified for a broad range of services
including Angling, Tours, Marine Surveys, Wind Farm Services, Safety Boat, Film work & Pilotage.
All charters are on licensed, modern, comfortable and stable boats with inside and outside seating and toilet facilities.

Highly Qualified & Experienced Skipper & Angler
With more than 40 years Boat Handling Experience, coupled with RNLI, Wicklow Pilotage and Management Experience Kit is the best man for the job. Kit is an Experienced International boat Angler with Team Management and Coaching qualifications, and an in-depth knowledge of the East Coast Inshore and Offshore.

The sights around Wicklow Head and the three lighthouses are simply iconic and can only really be appreciated from the sea. Further afield, you can visit the wind farms sited off Arklow. The fishing is great, and no surprise since Kit the skipper fished in the Ireland boat fishing team and is the current Team Ireland Manager. From Dogfish, Thorneback Ray, Gurnard, Spurdog’s to Cod and Whiting, the day was full of tight lines. The prize though is the famous Tope and Smoothound since record breaking fish live in the waters around Wicklow.

Another great trip out with Kit and Wicklow boat charters. Kit know the spots that produce fish even in the toughest of conditions. He is also very friendly and will always give you tips whether you are a novice or an experienced angler. Wreck Fishing Wicklow
Being a neutral country one wouldn’t expect to find too many maritime wrecks. Well you’d be wrong; Sailing with a 30 mile radius of Wicklow Town, Skipper and Irish International Angler, Kit Dunne put us on to some big fish including specimen 12 Lb Pollock and cod to 7 Lb. Interesting to see how a boat applies covid rules, but the ship is well organised to get anglers out to see in a safe and organised manner. Overall a great experience, great fishing, who could ask for more.

We have been out with Kit and Anthony a few times now. It’s always a great day out. They always put you on the fish and are on hand to offer advice on tactics etc. You can hire rods and bait which makes it handy for novice anglers.

Kit operates a strict catch and release policy and is ecologically minded to preserve the quality of fishing in the area and often assists in research and marine surveys being conducted by universities and state bodies. Overall a great fishing and photography experience for the pro or amateur fisherman, and the tourist wanting to see some of the best scenery in County Wicklow.

Fantastic Day Out & Great Value
Being a keen fisherman, my wife wanted to get me a surprise for my birthday. Kit had very professionally arranged everything from bait to refreshments. The views leaving Wicklow Harbour are just magical, seeing the ruins of the Black Castle and ancient steps carved into the rock gives some fantastic photo opportunities. Kit can give a good account of the history of the coastal features as well. The wildlife along the coast and hidden coves includes seals and their pups, all kinds of sea birds nesting in the cliffs, and diving birds.

What a fantastic day out Tope fishing on Wicklow Boat Charters with Kit Dunne. The first spot didn’t work out with the weather being much more blowy than was forecast so Skipper moved to another spot & within minutes the first Tope was on the deck followed by 8 more in a hectic few hours & a lovely BullHuss to finish the session, I can’t wait for the next day out with Kit, I hardly go out boat fishing ever & it was my first time on a charter boat so I needed a bit of help throughout the day.

We simply had to turn up and the fishing gear, bait and assistance were all supplied. The gear was all top quality, no shortage of bait or options, plenty of safety gear on board (a life jacket was supplied to our young fisherman)……advice on weights and why, advice on which bait to target which fish and plenty of tips. We had a great day with Smooth Hound, Dogfish, Thornback rays, Bullhusk (I think…) and a few special guest appearances….
